In a move away from recycled inner tube, these products are made from water resistant cordura fabric. It has a DWR (durable water repellent) finish and the back of the material has a polyurethane coating. This causes water to bead on the surface but will not withstand torrential rain. (I know from experience). I additionally treat all of the hand-painted packs with a water-repellant coating. I have incorporated recycled materials where possible. |
